The women’s groups are particularly active at LCIF.
Our Quilters meet on Saturday mornings, 9 – 11 a.m., and, as of last year, produced more than 40 quilts that were given, through Lutheran World Relief, to comfort those in need in many parts of the world. In addition, our Knit Together group meets midweek, Wednesdays from 1 –3 p.m., providing members with the opportunity to learn varied knitting techniques, and allowing members to work on personal projects or designated charity projects.
The Women GATHER group generally meets twice per month, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, for Bible study and devotions drawn from the monthly publication of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Gather.
