LCIF values Christian education and faith development for all ages.
For elementary-school children, weekly Children’s sermons and Children’s church introduce these young ones to God’s love for them. During the 10 a.m. service, children are invited to come forward for a special message from our pastor and then are excused to “Children’s church,” where hands-on activities, crafts, and stories help them to learn Bible stories in a manner that is both age-appropriate and, mostly, fun.
Most summers, LCIF has hosted a week-long Vacation Bible School (VBS) during which adult and youth volunteers lead the elementary-aged children through games, crafts, stories, and camp songs that make learning to follow Jesus an action-packed and meaningful experience. Many of our former VBS students return over several years, and many “graduate” to become group leaders for younger children.
