Local history buffs, travel enthusiasts, and residents looking to explore the roots of early Christianity are invited to step back in time this month for a special visual journey through the ancient world. Pastor Tim Singleton of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in La Crescenta will host a slideshow presentation on Wednesday, June 10th, at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Lutheran Church in the Foothills.
The event showcases the joint journey undertaken last year by members of both local congregations. The tour, billed as both "In the Footsteps of Paul" and a "Pilgrimage to Greece," allowed participants to retrace the historic and spiritual routes of the Apostle Paul. The upcoming slide show presentation will cover the key aspects of Paul’s biblical pilgrimage, while sharing the personal memories made by church members on the trip.
